Property & Casualty Claims Compliance Analyst
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Arrangement: Onsite during training, with the potential for a hybrid schedule after training

Focus People is seeking a detail-oriented Property & Casualty Claims Compliance Analyst to support an organization in Atlanta. This position reviews consumer complaints involving insurance carriers, analyzes policy and claim documentation, and evaluates whether claims were handled in accordance with applicable Georgia insurance laws and policy requirements.
The ideal candidate will have professional property and casualty insurance experience with a strong understanding of claims handling, coverage determinations, policy exclusions, claim investigations, and denials.
Key Responsibilities
- Review consumer complaints involving property and casualty insurance carriers.
- Evaluate complaints for potential violations of applicable insurance laws and regulations.
- Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage, exclusions, limitations, and conditions affecting claim payments.
- Analyze claim-related facts to determine whether policy coverage applies.
- Request and review insurers’ claim and underwriting files.
- Evaluate whether insurers conducted appropriate, good-faith claim investigations.
- Determine whether insurers met the obligations established in the applicable insurance policy.
- Review claim denials and supporting evidence to evaluate the stated basis for rejection.
- Document findings clearly, accurately, and objectively.
- Provide professional analytical and administrative support to the department.
- Manage multiple complaints and case files while meeting established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in property and casualty insurance claims, policy review, underwriting, insurance compliance, complaint analysis, or a closely related area.
- Experience interpreting insurance policy coverage, exclusions, conditions, and claim-denial language.
- Understanding of property and casualty claims investigations and coverage determinations.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Clear written communication and documentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to review sensitive information objectively and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work onsite in Atlanta throughout the training period.
