One of our clients is seeking a full time Project Manager in the Atlanta area.
TEMP/CONTRACT ROLE: Estimated Duration: 6 months initially- serious consideration will be given to extending the assignment to a total of 12 months.
Hourly Pay Rate: $35.00 an hour
Work Schedule: 8am – 5pm | Monday – Friday
Hybrid- 3 work days will be required ‘in-office’ during the training period. After May, perhaps more flexibility. After the first few weeks, the hybrid schedule can be solidified through May or through the first 6 months.
OVERVIEW / SKILLS:
- Seeking a Project Manager to bring a new division software onboarding and implementation project to completion.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, self-managed, and able to organize the weekly tasks and action items for the department teams with little to no oversight.
JOB TASKS — CRITICAL
- Provide support to department team leads with software onboarding needs.
- Communicate issues with the project progress to Software and review/resolve project progress issues during a weekly meeting with the vendor.
- Exchange information related to the project amongst the team, monitor the progress of the team in the software onboarding process
- Facilitate communication on a daily basis with all Division team leads to ensure their issues are presented to the vendor. Conduct follow-up.
ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with Policy and Finance teams to review annual changes and discuss updates to the funding application.
- Modify the funding applications and scoring components.
- Create and Administer the new software Outlook inbox.
- Check in on the progress of finalizing the set-up prior to the conversion from the development stage to operations.
- Notify staff of system upgrades, as communicated.
- Maintain external partner user guides and provide updates and materials to external partners.
- Set up report queries for staff and run reports requested by Agency staff and external partners and/or agencies.
- Submit informative updates to external partners in the electronic newsletter.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Project management skills and proficiency in Excel are both required for this role.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs, housing financing and development, and the HUD IDIS system are preferred; however, not required.
- Proficiency in data analysis is preferred, but not required.
