GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing laboratory test procedures and documenting the associated data and results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine and non-routine laboratory test procedures on raw materials, components, and finished products.
Document test data and results.
Develop test procedures.
Operate test equipment.
Train others on test procedures and the use of test equipment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Competent in high school mathematics up to Algebra I level.
Ability to correctly read and understand written laboratory test procedures.
Ability to correctly operate laboratory test equipment.
Ability to perform laboratory tests efficiently, accurately, and precisely.
Ability to collaborate with others in a team-centric laboratory environment.
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Basic computer skills.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Associate technical degree or greater.
Work experience in a laboratory or manufacturing test environment.
