Position Overview:
The Account Manager will have a primary focus on healthcare clients (and related industry segments) and be expected to evaluate the market, identify opportunities, develop business relationships and deliver product/services that meet client needs. Responsibilities include extensive interaction with end users (existing and new), effective presentation of alternatives and securing business opportunities in support of the overall company strategy. The individual will perform/coordinate the generation of accurate furniture specifications and drawings, manage multiple accounts and be responsible for all work order activities.

- Bachelors’ degree required
- Minimum 3 years of furniture sales experience, including prior work with healthcare clients
- Prior hands-on experience with AutoCAD14 and CAP software
- Proven ability to research potential clients and develop an effective sales strategy
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of a CRM platform
- Strong professional initiative and ability to manage multiple projects and the required follow-up
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete assignments with a sense of urgency
This is what you will do:
- Actively network in the market to generate opportunities among healthcare organizations
- Qualify potential clients, plan sales approach and work closely with Marketing to refine
- presentations and collateral material focused on healthcare
- Develops plans/product specifications independently or through work with the Design department
- Effectively collaborate with clients and/or their third party firms (e.g., A&D firms, contractors)
- Review each proposal and secure client approval on the order as well as the terms and conditions
- Engage with clients from the beginning of the sales cycle through project completion to help ensure client satisfaction; be responsive to customer inquiries and requests for information
- Ensure standards of performance are met for all customer work activities
- Meet established financial targets with respect to sales and gross profit margin
- Work with service departments to develop service contracts to present to customer when complex services are sold or for major projects
- Provide timely updates to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform
- Participate in project meetings as well as weekly Sales meetings
