FOCUS PEOPLE IS SEEKING ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSOCIATES FOR OUR CLIENT IN DOWNTOWN ATLANTA! 

Pay Rate: $16 per hour
Location:  Atlanta 30303 (near Peachtree Center MARTA Station). 

**Please Note:  NO absences allowed during training**
**Candidates must be a Georgia Resident**
Business professional dress code

Schedule:  Monday to Friday- 8 am to 4:30 pm
Duration: Contract, reviewed for extension every month

This job will begin fully onsite for training. Potential for hybrid after training. Hybrid is not guaranteed.

If approved to work hybrid, Candidates must have:

  • reliable internet service
  • quiet space in their home to be able work free from distraction with no background noise or circumstances to interrupt the conversations that they will be conducting over the telephone

Job Description:

  • Completes administrative support tasks and functions to include but not limited to answering a high volume of calls promptly, screening and directing calls, preparing correspondence for delivery and distribution on a daily basis, responds to correspondence via mail, fax or email in a timely manner.
  • Performs a variety of general secretarial, clerical, and administrative support functions/processes or a few specialized or essential clerical functions in support of a unit or office and related personnel.
  • Assists in resolving problems of claimants, employers, agents, states and staff using knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Reviews Applicant Status Affidavits for completion, updating the system to reflect receipt of the affidavits.
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail and distributes morning mail by 10:00a.m. and afternoon mail by 3:00p.m.
  • Performs any duties or work on any special projects as assigned in a cooperative manner and meets established guidelines.
  • Attends applicable training and meets the expected levels of proficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma
OR
GED and two years of general office or administrative experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Two years of clerical experience in an office setting
  • Two years of customer service experience in an office setting

Strong technical skills in order to set up computer equipment, access VPN systems, and access remote systems
