Administrative Contracts Assistant 

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Administrative Contracts Assistant. This contract-to-hire opportunity, plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our clients contract management process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the contract repository and vendor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Review contracts, update their status, and extract key data for input into the Bonfire platform.
  • Perform basic calculations and analysis based on contract content.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed about contracts and facilitate next steps.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of administrative experience (experience with contracts is a plus)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any major
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with contract management platforms (e.g., Bonfire)
  • Prior experience in the legal field

Note:

  • This is a contract-to-hire opporunity.
  • In-office work is required for the first 3-4 weeks, transitioning to a hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days and 3 remote days per week. One in-office day will always be Thursday, with the second in-office day chosen by the employee.
