Focus People began as the brainchild of Amy Shockley in 1994. She grew up in the staffing business and worked in her father’s staffing firm, bringing her years of expertise and experience into Focus. Alongside her husband, Amy still runs the company to this day, with their leadership setting the vision and direction of our growth.

Alongside her husband, Amy still runs the company to this day, with their leadership setting the vision and direction of our growth. Bryan and Amy are committed to living a healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and spirit, making time for CrossFit, outdoor family activities, and involvement in their local church.
Bryan and his wife, Amy, launched Focus in 1994. He provides the company with vision, direction, and well…Focus. His support of the entire staff is legendary. Bryan and Amy are committed to living a healthy lifestyle in mind, body, and spirit, making time for CrossFit, outdoor family activities, and involvement in their local church.
After receiving a B.A. in Public Relations from Auburn University, Amber spent four years in the sales and marketing industry. Her passion for people and leadership skills were apparent from the moment she began at Focus People. As a result, Amber was quickly promoted to Director of Client Solutions and then later Executive Client Partner. If she’s not at the beach or lake, you can find her cheering on the Braves, Falcons, and Auburn Tigers in her free time.
Rene began work with Focus in 1999. She’s assisted in every department: payroll, sales, training and development, recruiting, and client management. Her ability to implement data-driven strategies and genuine relationships has allowed Rene to deliver 5-star service. When she is not hard at work, she loves playing board games with her family and getting lost in a good book.
Josh has a talent for identifying opportunities and building strong relationships. Holding a B.A. in Business Administration from Auburn University, he brings six years of experience to the table. Consistently exceeding expectations, Josh is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for clients. Outside of work, you can find him reeling in fish, enjoying a pint, and mastering the art of smoking meat.
There are a few hats that Beth has not worn at Focus. She started as a recruiter and was promoted to onsite manager, corporate trainer, risk manager, support manager, and currently Director of Back Office Operations. Beth is a Nashville native and a graduate of Kennesaw State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. She holds several certifications, including the highly acclaimed Certified Staffing Professional. She has been with Focus for over 20 years. As if she doesn’t have enough to keep her busy, Beth sits on the Board of Directors for two local organizations in her community. As a wife and the mom of two boys, Beth can’t remember the last time she sat on the couch for longer than fifteen minutes.
With two degrees in both Business Management and Marketing, John brings a dynamic mix of strategy and creativity to Focus People. He has been connecting people since 2010. Known for his insightful problem-solving and client-focused approach, John sees recruitment as a journey of growth and cultural exploration. He has a great ability to connect with people and uses a smile to bring joy to others. When he’s not bridging work relationships, he enjoys sports, spending time with his family, and dancing.
Edolia is a seasoned recruiter with a passion for delivering exceptional client service. Starting her career at Focus People in 2021, her dedication to excellence led to her promotion to Ralent and Client Relationship Manager. Outside of work, she appreciates the little things in life, like watching sci-fi and crime dramas with her kids. In addition, Edolia enjoys trying new recipes and spending time at the beach.
Abbi is a Recruiter with a talent for making a difference in the lives of those around her. In 2018, she graduated from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a focus in Marketing. She excels at empowering candidates and preparing them to launch their careers. During her free time, Abbi loves spending time with family and friends or cuddling her Goldendoodle, Mae.
Throughout her career, DeeDee has accumulated a wealth of knowledge ranging from human resources, project management, telecommunications, and marketing. Since joining the Focus Team in 2016, her passion for watching others succeed is the driving force behind her recruiting work. During her free time, Dee Dee enjoys all things Harry Potter, baking, and spending time outdoors.
Roberto began his career in 2012 in the Industrial Staffing industry. His passion for people comes from his desire to help others find a career path to enhance their personal and professional lives. In addition, he enjoys playing sports, spending time with his family, and being outdoors.
Since joining the staffing industry in 2021 after several years in corporate recruiting, Daniel has proven he is passionate about fostering authentic connections and meaningful collaborations with both clients and talent. Fluent in English and Spanish, Daniel draws from a global perspective gained by living in three different countries. When not at work, he indulges his love for nature by tending to more than 60 plants at home, with his feline companions always nearby.
When Maria is not deftly handling the many tasks required to keep the Focus office humming, she loves getting out into nature. Maria is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in science and early childhood education. She started with Focus in August 2001. She handles back-off duties such as payroll. She enjoys photography, traveling, and learning about history. Maria likes to think outside the box in and out of the office. “I just love life and take one day at a time.”
Natalie brings over 15 years of experience to her role, ensuring precision and a meticulous eye for excellence to her role. Born and raised in metro Atlanta, she finds joy in family time with her husband and son, as well as indulging in comedy shows and concerts. A devoted animal lover, Natalie shares her home with three dogs, two cats, and a rabbit. When not crunching numbers, she unwinds by baking, though she could do without the mountain of dishes.
Danny – Client Solutions Manager – With a dynamic career spanning fine arts, film, and sales, Danny blends creativity with business strategy to deliver meaningful client solutions. He leverages his diverse background to consistently meet and exceed goals, earning recognition for his persistence and adaptability. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing golf, practicing yoga, and indulging in anything chocolate.
With seven years of experience in recruiting and onboarding, Yeisha brings a passion for helping new hires successfully transition into their roles. Her rewarding work is driven by a desire to guide people through the initial stages of their career journey, ensuring they feel supported from day one. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying nature outings or having cozy movie nights with her kids.
